With DOCSIS 3.1 support and backward compatibility with DOCSIS 3.0, the C100G enables a smooth transition to ultra broadband today. C40G CCAP

C40G CCAP


Our C40G CCAP platform provides all the functionality of the C100G in the industry’s smallest form factor (6RU), offering even more flexibility within your networks to deploy MPEG video, IPTV and DOCSIS over a single port. With DOCSIS 3.0 and 3.1 support, the C40G delivers the highest CCAP density while consuming the lowest average power per channel, minimizing both expenses and space requirements in the cable headend. And the C40G uses the same line cards as the C100G, saving you money on sparing and training, while extending the useful life of your investment.

Distributed Access Architecture Solutions

DAA


Our Distributed Access solution allows you to evolve smoothly to a distributed access architecture that can meet growing demands, while continuing to use existing CCAP management tools and current CCAP services – all without having to make costly changes to cable modems and set‑top boxes. The solution consists of our new CCAP services card (CSC8x10G) deployable on the C100G or C40G chassis; a range of Distributed Access (DA) nodes that perform DOCSIS and EQAM PHY functions and 10G Ethernet or 10G EPON transport between the CCAP core and the DA nodes.
